Naugatuck resident John DiBiaso has joined theSavings Bank of Danbury as assistant vice president and branch manager for its new Southbury branch location opening next month. A graduate of Sacred Heart University, he has more than 20 years of banking experience. He is president of the board of directors for theWaterbury Youth Service System Inc., serves on the finance committee for Saint Mary’s Churchin Union City and is a member of the Tribury Chamber of Commerce.

USA Network has selected Michael Arterberryof New Fairfield as recipient of its Characters Unite Award. Timed to the network’s “Characters Unite Month,” the award recognizes individuals who have made a significant and lasting difference in fighting prejudice. Arterberry is one of eight award recipients that will be featured on-air and online in a public service announcement featuring Reshma Shetty, of the USA Network series “Royal Pains.” Arterberry received a $5,000 grant from USA Network and cable-operator Charter Communications Inc., and was acknowledged during a hometown ceremony held by USA Network and Charter at Cafe on the Green. He is founder and executive director of Youth Voices Center Inc., and founded the organization Youth Voices Center.

The partners at Fairfield County Allergy,Asthma & Immunology Associates in Norwalk announce that Dr. Robert Biondi, senior partner, will retire from the practice as of Dec. 31. The practice’s physicians will continue the care and treatment of all of his patients.
